The difference between brush filter and suction filter

Brush filter and suction filter are somewhat similar. They are two types of self-cleaning filters commonly used nowadays. Users are easily confused when purchasing. Next, let me introduce the difference between the two.

Introduction to brush filter:

During the filtration process of brush filter, impurities in the inner layer of fine filter gradually accumulate, and a pressure difference is formed on its inner and outer sides. When this pressure difference reaches the preset value, the filter will start the automatic cleaning process: the drain valve opens, the hydraulic motor chamber and hydraulic cylinder of the main assembly release the pressure and discharge the water; the pressure in the hydraulic motor chamber and the suction pipe drops significantly. Due to the negative pressure, the dirt on the inner wall of the fine filter is sucked by the suction nozzle, flows into the hydraulic motor chamber by the hydraulic motor, and is discharged by the drain valve, forming a suction process. When water flows through the filter hydraulic motor, it drives the suction pipe to rotate, and the hydraulic cylinder piston drives the suction pipe to move axially.

The self-cleaning filter suction assembly completely cleans the entire inner surface of the filter through the combination of axial movement and rotational movement. The entire cleaning process will last for tens of seconds. The drain valve is closed at the end of cleaning, and the increased water pressure will cause the hydraulic cylinder piston to return to its initial position, and the filter will begin to prepare for the next flushing cycle. During the cleaning process, the filter machine's normal filtering work is uninterrupted.

Introduction to suction filter:

Water enters from the water inlet, first passes through the coarse filter to filter out larger particles of impurities, and then reaches the fine filter. During the filtering process, the fine filter gradually accumulates dirt and impurities in the water to form a filter impurity layer. Since the impurity layer accumulates on the inner side of the fine filter, a pressure difference is formed on the inner and outer sides of the fine filter. When the pressure difference of the filter reaches the preset value of the filter, the automatic cleaning process will begin. During this period, the clean water supply is continuously flowing, the cleaning valve is opened, and the water pressure in the cleaning chamber and the suction device drops significantly. Through the pressure difference between the filter cartridge and the suction pipe, a suction force is generated between the filter suction pipe and the cleaning chamber through the suction nozzle, forming a suction process. At the same time, the filter electric motor drives the suction pipe to make a spiral motion along the axial direction. The combination of the axial motion and the rotational motion of the suction device completely cleans the entire inner surface of the filter. The entire flushing process only takes tens of seconds. The drain valve closes at the end of the cleaning cycle and the filter begins preparing for the next flushing cycle.
