Shallow sand filter is referred to as sand filter, which is a filter with quartz sand as filler. Quaternary sand filter is generally used as pure water pretreatment equipment and ultrafiltration equipment. Its main function is to intercept and adsorb sludge, colloid, metal ions and organic matter through the filter layer. Ordinary filter is made of stainless steel 304 material and is generally used for water treatment. It is widely used because of its pollution-free, low price and low operating cost.
Fiber ball filter:
Fiber ball filter, also known as high-efficiency fiber ball filter, is a pressure filter with fiber balls as filter medium inside. The porosity of fiber balls accounts for about 93% of the filter material. When the fiber ball filter is running, water flows from top to bottom, because the flow resistance device passes through the filter, the filter material can be in the form of a tight space structure under the looseness, it has a big change, but also increases the capacity of sewage, can effectively remove the mass of suspended matter and sediment in the water, and has obvious removal effects on organic matter, colloids, iron, manganese and other substances in the water. The fiber ball filter can be used for fine filtration of oilfield oily wastewater.
The difference between shallow sand filter and fiber ball filter:
Shallow
Quartz Sand Filter: It is filled inside the quartz sand as filter material. The quartz sand filter material is different from sand, sand, etc. It is made of sand after grinding high-strength quartz stone. Shallow quartz sand filters can be divided into stainless steel shallow quartz sand filters, carbon steel shallow quartz sand filters and glass fiber reinforced plastic shallow quartz sand filters. The filtration speed is generally controlled within 15m/h, except for shallow sand filters, which can reach 40m/h. However, the filtration effect of shallow filtration is not as good as that of quartz sand filtration. Shallow filtration is generally used for the treatment of large-flow circulating water.
Fiber ball filter: internally filled fiber ball filter, mechanical filter, fiber bundle filter, the fiber bundle is linear, is hung on porous and perforated plates, is hooked with stainless steel, the fiber ball filter stops importing mechanical filter tank, is directly mixed by mixer, and fiber bundle is stainless steel mixer, fiber ball filter and dimensioned beam filter are collectively referred to as fiber filter.
