The multi-plate screw press sludge dewatering machine follows the dehydration principles of co-current flow of force and water, thin layer dehydration, appropriate pressure, and lengthened sludge dewatering path.

The initial section of the dehydration drum is the concentration zone, where the solid-liquid separation process occurs and the filtrate is discharged. At the end of the dewatering drum, the gap between the screw pitch and the ring decreases, thereby increasing the internal pressure. Finally, the end plate further increases the pressure, allowing the dried sludge cake to be discharged.
