I. Installation Steps
1. Thoroughly clean the filter housing.
2. The inlet and outlet of the housing are connected to the pipeline of the filtration system. Pay attention to the direction when connecting to ensure that the filter element is in the state of water inlet from the outside and water outlet from the inside.
3. Open the plastic bag at one end of the filter element opening and check whether the O-ring is intact and in place.
4. Wet the O-ring and the filter element seat jack with a suitable wetting agent (such as water).
5. Hold the end of the filter element close to the O-ring and vertically insert the filter element socket into the filter element seat jack.
6. After all the filter elements are inserted, remove the filter element packaging bag, then buckle the pressure plate to fix it, and then install the upper head.
7. Open the bleed valve on the top of the housing.
8. Slightly open the inlet valve to allow liquid to enter the housing until the liquid overflows from the bleed valve on the top of the housing. At this time, close the bleed valve.
9. Slowly adjust and open the downstream outlet valve until it is fully opened.
10. Slowly adjust and open the inlet valve until it is fully opened. At this time, the pressure drop between the upstream and downstream of the filter is 0.02Mpa (determine the initial pressure drop under the flow rate).
II.Precautions for Use
1. Prevent pressure shock during operation and prohibit reverse pressurization.
2. When the pressure drop between the upstream and downstream of the filter is greater than 0.3Mpa or the flow rate drops significantly, consider replacing the filter element.
3. If the filter is not working temporarily, do not dry the filter element, but soak it in a suitable sterilization solution (or inject such a solution into the shell), and rinse the sterilization solution before reuse.
4. If the filter is steam sterilized, the condensed water in the steam pipeline must be drained first, and the steam pressure should not exceed 0.1Mpa. At the same time, the pressure drop between the upstream and downstream of the filter should not exceed 0.015Mpa. If the wet filter element is steam sterilized, the liquid absorbed by the filter element should be drained with clean compressed air before passing the steam, otherwise the filter element will be damaged when the steam is passed.
